40 Gb/s High-Gain Limiting PIN-TIA Optical Receiver


Description:

The DSC-R411 is a high-gain PIN + Transimpedance + Limiting amplifier ideally suited for digital applications up to 40 Gb/s. Due to its high conversion gain of 900 V/W and differential GPPO RF outputs, the R411 can be connected directly to commercial CDR / DEMUX modules. The R411 also offers a high optical overload of > +2 dBm, a very low power dissipation of 200 mW, and utilizes Discovery’s high-reliability InGaAs photodiode technology.

  • High differential conversion gain of 900 V/W
  • High Responsivity at 1310nm, 1550nm & L-band
  • Sensitivity of -10.5 dBm at a BER of 10-12
  • Overload of +4 dBm at a BER of 10-12
  • Differential AC-coupled GPPO-style RF outputs
  • Very low power dissipation of 200 mW
  • Low optical PDL @ 1550nm (typically 0.05dB)
  • Meets GR-468 reliability standard
