Space Qualified, 2.4 Micron Wavelength InGaAs Photodiodes up to 400 MHz
Description:
The DSC24-290(S) is a 290 micron diameter photodiode having more than an octave spectral coverage with 2.4 micron cut-off wavelength at 300 K, that has been specifically designed for a variety of space applications, from comparatively benign Low Earth Orbit radiation environment to deep space missions outside Earth’s protective magnetosphere. Additionally, the wide operating temperature range and high optical power handling makes this device suitable for both direct detection and coherent systems. Multiple packaging options are available for fibered and free space coupled systems.
